How could gait recognition be beat?

How could you temporarily change your gait to such a degree that it changes all the values a gait recognition system relies on? Pebble in your shoe, duct tape on your back to change spinal and head posture, shoe inserts, etc? Something that could be quickly done before attending a protest, as an example.
