Privacy & Freedom in the Information Age www.reddit.com

I am currently looking for a security system for my home, and saw a recommendation on this sub for Wyze. I know that any service which is not locally hosted is a vulnerability. Does anyone have experience with Wyze? Is there a possibility to eliminate its vulnerabilities? Can it be self-hosted? Any similar alternatives for non-programmers? Thanks a lot for the help in advance!
