Home Depot seems to have access to veterans PPI

I just registered to Home Depot military discount program.

I had my discharge paperwork ready, assuming that I would need to provide a copy of it to verify that I am actually a vet.

However, the HD web site only had me enter name, birthdate, and discharge date, and then promptly displayed a message “You’re verified!”
