Help for E01 illiterate

I received a file for a computer from a company that had it encrypted with VeraCrypt. They sent me another drive saying it would be in native format so I could see the emails and documents on it (Word, excel, etc.). But when they sent the drive, it is in a folder indicating it is decrypted and it says the format is E01. After some digging, I downloaed FTK and I am trying to use it to open the E01 …
