Has anyone felt Meta/Instagram is listening to your conversations?

I was having a conversation with a friend about second hand car and within few hours I got an ad on insta related to same stuff! (Never searched it on any search engine, not a single time!)

Has something ever happened to you? I'm curious to know more about your experience.
