Privacy & Freedom in the Information Age www.reddit.com

I anonymously reported a teacher to our dean for making sexually suggestive comments in class repeatedly. He was given a warning and confronted our whole class, saying that he would hire someone to trace the sender's IP address and sue for cyber libel.

I made the report under a new account on Skype and did not include any personal information.

Is he bluffing? Is this possible?
