I’ve had google photos for years as I used to have an android device.

But Now that apple is releasing E2E encryption for most of iCloud, is it a good idea to move all my photos to iCloud and just turn on the “Advanced data protection” feature when it becomes available in 2023?

My thought is that Google isn’t the most reliable for security but Apple is taking security at least a-bit more seriously.
