"Google-less" Youtube with a proxy account?

I heard somewhere that there is a service that allows you to freely use youtube with custom recomendations, but those recomendations not being linked to you. They made this possible by having the "fake" account that you use being registered in a server somewhere, and it relaying the info back to you somehow.
So in the beginning it would show generic recomendations, but with time start showing you what interests you.
