Last year I could spoof my location by hiding my device from wireless communication, but Google has defeated that.
Does anyone know how?

Last year I wanted to spoof my location but V**s were useless. I discovered that this was because of Google's background scanning of the local WiFi environment.
When I connected through ethernet, in airplane mode, with active and background wireless both disabled, Google used the V**'s IP address to select my location.
