Good Linux distro for privacy and gaming focused windows user?

Hi! I'm trying to move over slowly to Linux. With Valve working hard on gaming on Linux, this is becoming easier and easier. My main reason for switching, other than finally getting rid of MS, is privacy.

What do you guys advise? You can give me a couple options with pros/cons.
