I still have my TS-SCI clearance from my last government job. My current job does not require or sponsor clearances, so if I don't go back to a government job and get sponsored, I will lose my clearance at the end of this year.

I feel like I am wasting my clearance in the current role - should I go back and get another government job? My background is software development/management/cyber security.
