I'm joining a new company as a SOC Analyst at the start of March. They pay for one SANS course + GIAC cert a year. What's the best cert for a SOC Analyst to take in your opinion?

GCIH seems very popular and the course syllabus sounds like I'd love the course. GMON also sounds really cool and I really like the instructor Erik Conrad.

Open to any other suggestions and I'll read up on the syllabus and look at …
