Garmin privacy? For smart watches and for car?

Do you have any recommendation for Garmin?

Would you consider for smart watch - with or without cloud sync?

And mainly for car navigation as alternative to google maps? Is it private, is it goos can you comfortably use it? Or you would stick with Osm
