Gaming Companies Hacks and Leaks

So Insomniac was just attacked and it caused the leaks of not only work files but employees sensitive information. We also saw that Rockstar Games was also hit by hackers who released the trailer for GTA VI ahead of press release.
In light of these cyberattacks, do you believe that gaming companies will begin to invest in their cybersecurity departments or outsource the protection to cybersecurity providers?
What practices will these companies need to implement to prevent future attacks?
