Game Genshin Impact claiming to use E2EE on chats

I've recently seen this part in their [privacy policy](https://genshin.hoyoverse.com/m/en/company/privacy)

So I was wondering, just as an exercise, since any claims by proprietary software on the matter are ~~completely~~ partly unverifiable, what they meant with such weird wording.
