Full time systems admin to contract cybersecurity analyst?

I was offered a 6 month contract as a cybersecurity analyst. I have no experience in the cyber field other than some stuff I did in the Army. I’m currently a full time sys admin. My question is, is it worth it to take a chance on this contract job to get experience or should I look to get a full time cyber job?
