FTK imager Help Question ?

Hello everyone, I am using FTK imager for a class to do a practical and seem to have some trouble. The first image attached below is my peer and it shows the file he is looking at in .txt format. The second picture is my FTK console with the same file but not in .txt format. Does anyone know how I can make the file into a .txt format or a readable one ? Any help is greatly appreciated !
