I found a severe security issue in a software I once in a while have to work with. A regular customer would be basically able to manipulate any database data.

In my opinion that software is overpriced, there are better - free - alternatives, the support is bad and - how I see it - the only reason the company behind that software is successfuly is, because they have good marketing …
