Former ADF lieutenant colonel fined for illegally accessing classified defence documents

After month after month of breaches in Australia, this is and interesting sentence for hacking into the defence network: AUD 11,700 fine and no prison time.

I'm sure it sends just the right message on the country's security posture and I am sure it strengthens trust from the remaining 5 eyes.
