Feds arrest, charge Russian national in AZ for LockBit attacks

A criminal complaint unsealed in a New Jersey District Court today alleges that between August 2020 and March 2023, Astamirov helped carry out five separate ransomware attacks on victims in the United States and around the world, four of which were done on behalf of LockBit.
