Fall internships/co-ops

Hi! I’m new the cybersecurity and I’m just curious if fall semester internships or co-ops are common in this field. I’ve been searching on indeed and LinkedIn and haven’t found many. Am I too early or is summer the only time a lot of opportunities are out there? Any info would be helpful! My college doesn’t have many security classes so looking to get experience elsewhere!
