Facebook now seeks for full camera-access when uploading?

Recently I tried to upload a photo to my storyline. Till now I was able to access photos from my gallery without full camera roll access. Now it says it needs a full access and till I don't give it, it won't let me use selection from gallery.
I think I'm done with this mainstream sh!ts.
