Privacy & Freedom in the Information Age www.reddit.com

My question is simple and I was hoping someone had an answer. If you install Facebook on IOS or Android, it supposedly gives Meta access to telemetry and other information. I don't care, but I wan't to avoid this on principle of privacy. If I were to create a WebApp, that is just create a shortcut on my Home Screen, and use Facebook that way, does it still have access to all of the same stuff?
