I have a stock Android tablet. And it makes 10 to 15 DNS requests when it boots up. I've blocked all DNS requests and it still works (probably just for now).

The question is, when if I block the DNS requests manually, the device still could make a connection to them? (i.e. using IP instead of DNS)

I'm wondering how effective it is the DNS blocking when I concern about connection to Google when using Android.
