One thing I really like about Telegram is how when you log in with a new device, your entire chat history from day zero is available on that new device automatically. This is technically possible with messengers like Signal, but requires some more footwork on the back end.

Are there any privacy-focused messengers that provide true zero-knowledge communication AND archive chats?
