OK so obviously e2e encryption is a good thing when it comes to data security. But in terms of API payloads, encryption makes it impossible to perform trace analysis & reduces visibility. This of course, has security drawbacks.

I am somewhat familiar with TLS policies so perhaps they offer a viable solution. Outside of that I am not too sure and it seems that adding e2e encryption at the expense of visibility is not necessarily a good idea.
