Duck Duck's feature Apps tracker revealed over 5k tracking attempts for just 9 Apps

I feel a headache just looking at this number after using 9 Apps. I have over 70 Apps. The amount of data that they try to track is very alarming even how many times you open and use the App and when you are idle. Is really the only way to avoid using devices all together or just let it be?
