Dual boot OS

So, I have always been interested in privacy but never really taken any measures.

I dont do anything sketchy online, but I just feel very uncomfortable with my cell phone and winodws pc.

I am intersted in switching to linux. I play games on steam as well.

Should I do a dual boot system? Or should I have multiple computers?

I am not really concerned about a goverment targeting me, I just dont like my pc tracking and reporting everything …
