I am getting into hobbyist electronics, and many of the consumer-level devices are generally Chinese made. Issue is, some of these want you to install a driver (Usually for USB) and I can't even read the driver's name properly because it's entirely in Chinese.

Am I just being overly paranoid about installing Chinese drivers or is there an actual risk here? It's mostly drivers for popular chip flashing/programming devices.
