downsides of graphene OS and other phones that support it. please advise?

did some research about this OS and i want to really go with it.
so far i can think of pixel 6 as a "host" of this OS, however i find that phone extremely large! but, small sized ones are much weaker in specifications, e.g. ram, camera or cpu
i checked and phone from seller has option to enable custom rom.

are google pixels the only phones that could host graphene OS?
