Does YouTube recommend your watched videos to other people on the same wifi?

Just as the question above. I have noticed that someone in my family always listens to songs on YouTube I have recently saved into my private playlist. Let's say I save a song that may not be that popular... next days they're listening to it. This has happened couple of times, like more than 10 and these songs are not that popular.
Is this a thing and if so is there a way to avoid this ?
