I have been reading up on this and have consistently heard that only Firefox with uBlock Origin can successfully block CNAME trackers. I am aware of Safari's alternate approach of limiting such cookies to 7 days.

I came across the below link which says that the Adguard Tracking Protection List is continually updated with all known CNAME trackers and can block those in both Chrome and Safari through uBlock Origin:
