I recently shifted to using NextDNS. Today, I wanted to create an alt account on reddit. I already knew that Reddit bans accounts made using virtual private networks, so I used a mobile hotspot instead. Most trackers were blocked by NextDNS lists.
After I created the account, it was instantly shadowbanned site-wide. It couldn't have been an IP issue because I used a mobile hotspot.
I'm speculating that Reddit uses some trackers during its signup process, and if those trackers …
