Does it even matter if I delete chrome if I already use YouTube?

I am trying to be more intentional with how I use google products. I've thought of deleting chrome to increase my privacy, but does it even matter if I've decided that YouTube is something I value enough to keep using? How much more surveillance is added by using chrome compared to using YouTube?
