I have an old .edu Google Drive with practically unlimited storage that I still have access to and a home media server with about 2TB of files. I want to use it as a location for a backup but, as I understand, Google scans all files uploaded to Drive and can (does?) take offense to copyrighted material. My questions are thus:

1). Am I safe uploading the files as a .zip archive? I would do this anyway to save space. …
