Does ~1 year of working in another part of IT qualify me for entry level cybersecurity jobs?

I've been working in the operations side of infrastructure in data centers, basically intern level work - closest I've gotten to touching cybersecurity was literally touching the servers they use.

I assume a Security+ cert at minimum would be recommended.
