DOD -> (NSA/Private/Civilian Cyber)???

Hows everyone doing? Appreciate you opening this post and taking the time to rea through.

BLUF: I am currently a DOD employee working in "InfoSec/Cyber" (very broad I know). I have roughly 3 years left on my contract. This last 3 years will be time for me to prepare for the transition. The question is what is the best plan for that transition? And what is the transition too?
