Do you actually care about protecting your org?

More specifically, once you gave your audit over and done everything in due diligence, do you care if anything is done with that audit and they actually fix their shit?
I have seen a lot of people complaining about nothing being done after they hand in audits and how angry, dissatisfied and disillusioned they are because of it.
Personally I really don't care as a normal employee, maybe as a stakeholder or boss I would but if the company loses …
