Do DKIM, SPF and DMARC records help reduce spam?

Apologies if this is not the right place to post. I have read the FAQ. However this is a question about corporate level security.

I have a very basic understanding of SPIF, DKIM and DMARC records and can work my around adding them as DNS records. However I am not 100% sure of how they all interrelate and how they reduce spam or is that not really the function they are intended to serve?
