Did google remove the apps' permissions list from the play store?

I've looked all over the place and it seems to be gone, looks like they replaced it with the data safety section, which explains in more approachable terms what data an app is or isn't collecting and how it's treating it.

I think this is bad news, I mean, the data safety thing is cool, makes things easier to understand for most people, but it doesn't tell the whole story. Removing the permissions list altogether is just a bad idea, …
