DFIR vs SOC Analyst/Malware Analyst/Security Analyst

I am not sure if these are comparable. But can anyone enlighten me on how different they are and for what kind of people are each of those roles. Like people who want to analyze the problem and solve it. Or for people who want to know what causes what, or who the culprit of the crime is. I don't know. Something like that maybe?
