I've been tasked with creating a vulnerability detection tool (Log4Shell). However, I have found many detection tools for the related vulnerabilities, so I'm stuck on how I can make one that is unique. I thought about creating a honeypot for the vulnerabilities but am unsure if that adds enough to existing scanners. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
