DC Circuit Evades Important Questions in Disappointing Ruling on Section 1201 of the DMCA

The Court of Appeals for the DC Circuit has issued a disappointing ruling in the case of Green v. DOJ. The ruling left intact a law that has stifled speech and innovation for decades and forced researchers, advocates, teachers, and tinkerers to beg for government permission to do their work.
