Cyber Sales Engineers, do you still feel like a real "Cyber Professional"?

I'm considering an offer for a pre-sales engineering role for a SaaS company's security offering. I'm currently doing security project management, so while I'm not hands on keyboard so to speak I still enjoy being a part of the community.
