Curious what other InfoSec professionals have found to be the best field/industry to work in, within a GRC-type capacity; whether it was because of career growth, salary, work-life balance, or simply interesting work.

Most of my IT career was spent within either government (contracting company) or at an investment bank, so from a GRC perspective that is what I am most familiar with. However, I now work in consulting and have been fortunate enough to broaden my exposure to other industries, but this is still of course from an outsiders perspective.
