News that Apple will offer the ability to convert speech to text on your screen during phone calls: many states say it is illegal to capture the audio of a call without both parties permission. Now you won’t be capturing audio, but taking screen shots. So…..?

(I’m a privacy advocate who likes the idea of screen shots — too often a business can make a promise over a phone or similar and later deny it.)
