Crowdstrike as Primary, Defender second - on demand scanning?

I know it's not and apples vs apples comparison, given that CS is analytical and Defender hash based, but I have a need for on demand scanning. Previously, we could do the right-click, scan and get a pop-up indicating all was clean, but since introducing CS as our Primary EPP, we have lost some Defender functionality.
