As an open source developer, I need to market myself, which requires keeping my realname around the internet so that people can find me.
Say I'm John Doe.
Some examples include: I have a github username jondoe, email address [john@johndoe.com](mailto:john@johndoe.com), hacker news username johndoe etc.
The problem is that this is a bit too "exposed", as in standing out from others.
