Computer Forensics Certifications

What is a place to go to to earn Certification? Im currently in the military and working on my computer forensics bachelor's. There are times I cannot attend my online classes due to deployment and other circumstances. I would like to do some self taught certs to helpbfuther me along and keep me from getting behind. Good books request also.
