Company Requiring Wi-Fi Connection with Personal Device?

My company is going back to the office soon and is going to require connecting to wifi and carrying your phone with you at all times for contact tracing as a COVID protocol. I would have no issue with this if we had work phones this could be done on. However, they're going to be requiring this on personal devices.
